Culture conditions: S₀ = 20 mg/ml, pH = 6.0, incubation temperature T = 28ºC, fat/(NH₄)₂SO₄ ratio 20 g/g, agitation rate 650 ± 20 rpm, aeration rate 0.3 v.v.m., oxygen saturation 60-70% (v/v) for all growth phases. Kinetics conducted in duplicate by using different inocula.
