The thermal stability of the enzyme was determined by measuring the remaining activity of the enzyme after incubating the enzyme at different temperatures for 15 min. In both cases, the standard assay buffer was used. The optimum or highest enzyme activity was defined as 100% activity and other activity levels were calculated relative to this value.
