(b) Sequence alignment with other group III sPLA2s from Drosophila melanogaster, Homo sapiens, Heloderma suspectum and Apis mellifera. The Ca2+ binding loop and active site motifs are shown in boxes, the conserved residues and the cysteines are shown in bold. Hyphens are used to maximize the alignment and dots denote the end of the sequence. Numbers at the end of the sequences denote the percent homology to MtsPLA2.
