Figure 4. Effect of the CGRP like molecules purified from sardine hydrolysates (second HPLC chromatography) on the CGRP stimulated adenylate cyclase activity. Incubations were performed, at 30°C during 30 min, in the presence of 4 ng/ml CGRP and increasing concentrations of the purified molecules as described in the Material and Methods section. Results were expressed as the quantity of cyclic AMP synthesised per min and per mg of proteins. They are the mean ± S.E.M. of triplicate determinations of a single experiment. Similar results were observed in three other experiments.
