About 2 - 3-cm long plants, which had been growing in LDs, were transferred to various R/FR treatments. In each treatment, 12 hrs of PAR was extended by 12 hrs of different R/FR ratios at an irradiance of 25 µmol m^-2 s^-1. Each point is a mean of 16 plants. Mean ± S.E. are shown.
