Figure 3. The different mutants as well as the wild type plasmid were transfected into HEK-293 cells. Cell lysates were analyzed using Western-blots probed with anti-V5 antibodies. Results show successful expression of V5 tagged proteins with the molecular weight predicted for the different mutants probing that the part of the plasmid not sequenced conserved the functionality of all its elements.
